The PAW Patrol is on a roll, and so is Spin Master Entertainment!
Following the success of its PAW Patrol: The Movie — which brought in more than $135 million at the global box office and scored a greenlight for a sequel — Spin Master Entertainment has expanded the responsibilities for its President, Jennifer Dodge.
Effective immediately, Dodge takes the lead for sales and distribution of content and outbound licensing for consumer products at the company. As part of the expansion, Dodge hired licensing vet André Lake Mayer to step into the newly created role of senior vice president, global strategic partnerships and consumer products.
Mayer, who is responsible for leading global strategies and partnerships that will translate Spin Master’s owned intellectual property IP) into licensed consumer products, brings more than 25 years of executive experience to the company. She previously held roles at Lucasfilm, ZAG Entertainment, Playmates Toys, Bandai America, Paramount Pictures, and others.
“André is an accomplished business growth leader with a strong background in strategic brand marketing,” Dodge says. “As we continue to expand our reach and portfolio, André’s extensive experience and forward-thinking approach will be instrumental in helping to build an audience and extend revenue opportunities across the company.”
For more than a decade, Dodge has developed a robust content slate of toyetic entertainment properties.
A sequel to PAW Patrol: The Movie is in development in association with Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures. The film is expected to hit theaters in 2023.
