There’s another new monster joining Beloit, Wisconsin-based PlayMonster.
The company hired Steve Adolph to serve as president while Sharon Fosbery has been promoted to chief brands and strategy officer. Adolph will report to and work alongside CEO Tim Kilpin with a focus on global operations and crafting strategic initiatives to fuel growth for the company.
“We have set the stage for a new era of growth here at PlayMonster, and both Steve and Sharon bring a strong measure of strategic leadership in marketing and operations that will serve us well as we step into the next phase of our global success,” Kilpin says. “As we head to Dallas with an incredibly strong team in place, we are excited to present the most innovative, consumer-tested toy lines we have ever launched, and this is just the beginning of the amazing growth of PlayMonster.”
Adolph’s experience includes roles as president and CEO at a variety of companies across the consumer and business-to-business sectors, including Rapid Displays and Outperform, SPAR Group, and Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet.
Fosbery joins the senior leadership team from PlayMonster UK where she served as sales and marketing director. She is a 25-year toy industry vet who previously worked for a number of brands and companies, including Hasbro and University Games. In her new role, she will focus on developing and driving long-term global brand strategy for the company.
Over the past few months, PlayMonster has brought on a chief parenting officer, hired a new chief people officer, and expanded its sales team as it continues to expand into new categories.
PlayMonster will exhibit its new products at The Toy Association’s 2023 Preview & 2022 Holiday Market at the Dallas Market Center next week.
