Pokémon Day is well underway, and with it comes tons of new Pokémon announcements!

The Pokémon Co. is updating fans on projects including Pokémon Go, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon Concierge, and the new Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic.

“Pokémon Day is the most exciting day of the year for Trainers, and we’re honored to ‘Celebrate Pokémon Together’ with them by revealing what’s next for the ever-evolving franchise,” says Kenji Okubo, President of The Pokémon Co. International. “As we invite fans to ‘Pokémon Together’ in 2023, these new experiences across the brand reflect the growing world of Pokémon and the many ways it continues to connect and bring joy to people of all ages around the world.”

Some other announcements from Pokémon Day include:

  • Pokémon Trading Card Game Classic: The Classic set features a curated collection of everything that trainers need to play their favorite trading card game, including three 60-card preconstructed decks, a two-player game board, a toolbox full of gameplay accessories, card sleeves, and deck boxes. The Trading Card Game Classic will be available later this year.
  • Hidden Treasure of Area Zero for Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet: The latest downloadable content for the newest Pokémon video games features two new adventures: The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk that will release later this year. Players will be able to explore new areas of the Pokémon world, Kitikami Village and Blueberry Academy. They will also encounter brand-new Pokémon, including Ogerpon, Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti.
  • Pokémon Concierge: The Pokémon Co. is working with Netflix to produce Pokémon Concierge, a stop-motion animated series where Haru the concierge meets all sorts of Pokémon.
  • Pokémon Sleep: The app that tracks trainers’ sleep patterns with the help of Professor Neroli and Snorlax is officially being released this summer. The time players spend sleeping and what time they wake up affects the gameplay.
  • Pokémon GO Plus: A new accessory that uses Bluetooth technology to connect to the Pokémon Sleep and Pokémon GO apps ups gameplay by making throwing Poké balls effortless and tracking sleep.
