The Pokémon Company International announces that PokéPark Kanto, the brand’s first permanent outdoor theme park, will open on Feb. 5, 2026, at Yomiuriland in Tokyo.
The 26,000-square-meter park in Tama Hills includes Pokémon Forest, where visitors can discover hundreds of Pokémon in a natural setting, and Sedge Town, which features a Pokémon Center, shops, and live entertainment.
This destination highlights Pokémon’s commitment to large-scale branded experiences, expanding the franchise from products and digital entertainment to attractions.
PokéPark Kanto tickets go on sale starting Nov. 21, 2025, at 1 a.m. PST, approximately two months before the park opens. Two ticket tier options are offered for the grand opening of the theme park.
The Trainer’s Pass grants a single entry to the Pokémon Forest within the specified time slot (no re-entry allowed), as well as unlimited entry to Sedge Town.
The Ace Trainer’s Pass grants entry to the Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town areas at any time. It also offers other perks, such as special meet-and-greets, a reserved seat for the Sedge Gym Show, priority access to attractions, and exclusive merchandise.
By summer 2026, the company plans to introduce a Town Pass for purchase, which grants entry only to Sedge Town. It is intended for guests who cannot enter Pokémon Forest or only wish to visit Sedge Town.
