Ravensburger is back with a third installment of the Horrified franchise, a line of tabletop board games where players face off against iconic monsters.
The company’s latest installment is Horrified: Greek Monsters, which features monsters from Greek mythology including Medusa, Cerberus the three-headed dog, the Chimera, and the Minotaur.
Ravensburger previously launched Horrified: Universal Monsters, which featured Frankenstein, the Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula, the Mummy, the creature from the Black Lagoon, and more as well as Horrified: American Monsters, which featured Mothman, Bigfoot, and more.

“After tackling our favorite cryptids in Horrified: American Monsters, we wanted to gamify some of the most iconic monsters in the world, so of course we found inspiration in Greek myths,” says Mike Mulvihill, Game Development Manager at Ravensburger North America. “Horrified: Greek Monsters is filled with surprises for first-time and long-time Horrified players from bold and vibrant art direction to the new lairs mechanic.”
Horrified: Greek Monsters features a new game mechanic called lairs. Players must uncover the monsters as they hide in the lairs, but can only reveal them once they sacrifice three color items.
Horrified: Greek Monsters will be available for preorder starting Sept. 5 and will hit shelves starting Oct. 1.
