A seasoned licensing vet with ties to Charlie Brown, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and The Simpsons has a new role at the home of Barbie, Hot Wheels, and the Masters of the Universe.

Rosalind “Roz” Nowicki joined Mattel as head of global consumer products and franchise marketing. Nowicki joins the company from Peanuts Worldwide for which she was responsible for the overall global business including licensing, promotions, partnerships, location-based entertainment, marketing, brand development, PR, legal, finance, and operations. She will report directly to Mattel President and Chief Operating Officer Richard Dickson.

Prior to her work at Peanuts Worldwide, Nowicki served as executive vice president, global sales and retail at 20th Century Fox Consumer Products, leading licensing and partnership opportunities for properties in the Fox film and TV portfolio. Nowicki has more than 30 years of experience in the kid’s brands and entertainment space, including past roles at 4Kids Entertainment, The Walt Disney Co., Universal Studios, and Guess? Inc.
