Spin Master is kicking off a new global licensing program for its popular Bakugan franchise.

The company announced a formal kickoff for the new program with the addition of several new consumer products partners for the U.S. market.

New licensees for Bakugan include Funko (Pop! Vinyl figures and accessories); Super Impulse USA (novelty toys); Jakks Pacific/Disguise (costume and dress up); Finesse Skateboards; Scholastic (publishing); Isaac Morris Ltd. (kids apparel); Ripple Junction (adult and junior apparel); Handcraft Manufacturing Corp. (kids and men’s underwear); American Marketing Enterprises Inc. (kids and adult sleepwear); Franco Manufacturing Corp. (home goods); Exclusive Candy and Novelty Distribution (confectionary); Rose Paige Distribution Inc. (hand sanitizer, tissues, antibacterial wipes); and Venley (face masks).

“Our adult program targets legacy fans, leaning into the classic Bakugan franchise complete with art from the original 2007 series, while the core program is geared towards kids, featuring an all-new style guide based on the current series,” says Shane Mang, director of licensing and sales, North America, Spin Master.

Licensing agents working to build the Bakugan brand globally include WildBrain CPLG for EMEA (excluding France), Tycoon for Latin America, Haven for Australia and New Zealand, Nelvana for Canada and France, and Shambala for China.
