Spin Master is expanding its presence in creative play technology with plans to acquire Hapiko, the Brooklyn-based company behind Stickerbox, a kid-focused tool that uses AI to turn children’s spoken ideas into stickers.
Under the definitive agreement announced today, Hapiko will join Spin Master as the company looks to build on the momentum of Stickerbox, which has sold out 13 times since launching in late 2025.
“We want to empower kids to bring their biggest ideas into the real world,” explains Christina Miller, Spin Master’s CEO.
Stickerbox uses voice-to-image technology to transform children’s spoken ideas into printable stickers that can be colored, collected, and applied in the physical world. It encourages hands-on creativity while minimizing passive screen time, with ink-free technology that requires no ink or maintenance.
The acquisition aligns with Spin Master’s focus on developing new play experiences across its Toys, Entertainment, and Digital Games creative centers. The company sees Hapiko’s platform as an opportunity to accelerate its vision for creative tools that help children turn their ideas and imagination into physical creations.
“There’s nothing like a child’s imagination, how it sees the world and turns the everyday into magic,” says Arun Gupta, CEO of Hapiko Inc. “We built Stickerbox as a springboard for that creativity, and by joining with Spin Master, we will have an even greater audience and platform for growth.”
Hapiko’s Stickerbox platform could also serve as a foundation for future product extensions, expanding the technology beyond its current creative tool and into additional areas of open-ended play.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

STICKERBOX
This voice-powered sticker maker lets kids create and print endless sticker combinations with AI. It has guardrails and parents in mind with built-in filters and assurances that the device is not “always listening” to prevent unwanted content.
