It’s October and that means that it’s time for the Toy Book‘s annual fall toy preview issue! In pre-pandemic times, the toy industry would be coming off of the Los Angeles preview loop and gathering in Texas for Toy Fair Dallas. While the COVID-19 delta variant nixed those plans this year, new toys and games are still hitting shelves and being prepped for the year ahead despite the ongoing supply chain issues that the industry is facing this holiday season.

Our October issue celebrates the creativity of the industry and all of the up-and-coming toys and games that will bring giant smiles to kids’ faces next year! Our toy preview showcase is packed with new toys that retailers should be stocking their shelves with next year, plus a robust 2021 holiday launch showcase that shines the spotlight on new toys and games coming out during the remainder of the year.

Additional highlights in the Toy Book’s October issue:

  • How the toy industry continues to navigate global supply chain issues;
  • The latest industry performance update from the NPD Group;
  • How streaming services are impacting toy sales;
  • Predictions for the 2021 holiday season; and
  • An update on YouTube’s algorithm

The October issue features exclusive features that you won’t find anywhere else, so be sure to check it out and let us know what you think. Subscribers should find it landing in mailboxes in the days ahead and the book can also be viewed online right here.

Also, be sure to follow us on TwitterInstagram, and LinkedIn for the latest toy news, trends, and new products all year round. We’ll keep you on the #pulseofplay!
