World of Eric Carle Magna-Tiles

The World of Eric Carle is growing.

Ahead of Very Hungry Caterpillar Day on March 20, the brand inked some new partnership deals and has retail initiatives planned for the year ahead. The deals were brokered by The Joester Loria Group working as the brand’s worldwide licensing agent and are supported by a targeted marketing campaign from Brilliant PR & Marketing.

Target is on board as the exclusive retail destination for seven new Magna-Tile Story Sets by CreateOn. The sets were designed and vetted by early educators and feature images and storylines from books including The Very Hungry CaterpillarThe Very Busy Spider, and Brown Bear What Do You See? The CreateOn website will offer companion lesson plans for teachers and parents to elaborate on STEAM skills tied to each story. Additionally, a new Eric Carle Let’s Count Soft Book for babies will be available this spring.

Following the 50th anniversary celebration of The Very Hungry Caterpillar last year, Carle sold his namesake company to Penguin Random House. The publisher previously launched its World of Eric Carle imprint in 2018.
