Ahead of this year’s Licensing Expo, Thunderbird Entertainment has formalized its consumer products operations and is ready to introduce all new brands to attendees. Dubbed Thunderbird Brands, this new division will be led by Richard Goldsmith, the production, distribution, and rights company’s President of Global Distribution and Consumer Products.
“For the content we produce that generates significant brand awareness, we have a unique opportunity to market products to our fans, such as toys and apparel, and new content like books, video games, live entertainment, and recorded music that will extend the franchises,” says Goldsmith. “Looking at our pipeline over the next few years, we are very excited about the opportunities for this key growth vertical for our company.”
Thunderbird Brands will be representing products and experiences and service licensing rights of Thunderbird’s original series. This includes series under Atomic Cartoons, Great Pacific Media, Thunderbird Scripted, and third-party properties under Thunderbird’s management.
Making its debut at Licensing Expo 2023, Thunderbird Brands plans to introduce four key properties to potential partners in retail, promotion, and manufacturing. The properties include Mermicorno: Starfall (animated series), Mittens & Pants (animated series), The Last Kids on Earth (book/animated series), and Highway Thru Hell (unscripted series).
The Toy Book and sister publication The Pop Insider will also be in attendance at Licensing Expo next month. Come by Booth No. N249 to meet the team and grab a 2023 Licensing & Entertainment Issue of The Toy Book and our spring issue of The Pop Insider.
