Get ready to make the biggest jigsaw puzzle ever.
Trefl, a jigsaw puzzle company based out of Europe, is ready to make its U.S. debut. The company plans to launch a collection of the company’s top European best-sellers, including the Trefl Wood Craft Origin line, the Trefl Prime Puzzle, and its original licensed and core puzzles.
“As the puzzle category continues to grow, and more families and friends begin to gather in person, we have identified the perfect opportunity to introduce our unique puzzles to the U.S. market,” Kazimierz Wierzbicki, founder of the Trefl Group, said in a statement. “For more than 35 years, we have designed our puzzles specifically to encourage family-time, inspire creativity, and explore the world through puzzle play.”
Beginning this fall, U.S. retailers will stock the Trefl Wood Craft Origin line. This wooden, 500-piece jigsaw puzzle includes 100 unique puzzle shapes, such as a boot, a horseshoe, and more. Later, the Puzzle Prime Collection, featuring Ultimate Fit Technology (UFT), will hit shelves. Puzzlers can connect all puzzles featuring UFT to create a massive puzzle that doesn’t fall apart.
In order to support its presence in the U.S., Trefl has hired Justin Kreter to manage sales and marketing.
