Western Digital, Nintendo, and Epic Games have teamed up for a new addition to the Fortnite gaming experience: an officially licensed Fortnite SanDisk microSDXC card for Nintendo Switch owners.
The SD cards depict characters from the game, including the 128GB Skull Trooper and 256GB Cuddle Team Leader. Each card includes a digital access code that can be redeemed for the in-game Angular Flow Wrap.
“With hundreds of millions of fans across the globe, Epic Games is a leader and innovator in the gaming industry,” says Susan Park, vice president of consumer solutions product management at Western Digital. “We’re excited to partner with Epic Games and Nintendo to help up-level the gaming experience for fans by bringing our specially themed memory cards to the Fortnite community.”
With a microSDXC Card, gamers have access to additional storage on any type of Nintendo Switch System.
