It’s International Stitch Day and already there’s a big hit right out of the gate.

First Editions of Wow! Stuff’s Real FX Disney Stitch Animatronic Puppet are sold out.

According to Wow! Stuff President Richard North, the initial online allocation of the “Puppetronic” toy has broken all sales records for the company, besting its Real FX Jurassic World Baby Blue and Harry Potter Real FX Invisibility Cloak.

We sold out in the U.S. on Amazon and also in the UK at Smythstoys.co.uk a few days ago, My sister-in-law wanted one for my niece Holly. Then Holly sent a text saying, ‘I think Uncle Richard is fibbing. They’re not available yet.' They’d sold out! So wifey made me send her my own sample. In the UK, Smyths had new stock arrive in stores up and down the country this week so the sought-after First Editions will be live today to celebrate International Stitch Day."

With its lifelike sound and motion, Real FX Disney Stitch turned heads on the trade show circuit last year, scoring rave reviews and “Toy of the Year” predictions from retailers including Richard Derr of Learning Express in the U.S. and David Middleton of Midco Toys in the UK, and members of our team at The Toy Book and The Toy Insider.

The puppet made its U.S. TV debut at Licensing Expo last month in a segment on FOX 5 alongside a very familiar media personality.
