The Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Starter Pack from Disney Interactive, featuring the Star Wars Twilight of the Republic Play Set, will be available in North America on August 30. Fans who pre-order at participating retail stores will receive an early copy of the multiplayer Toy Box Expansion Game, Toy Box Takeover, which allows players to use all of their Disney Infinity characters across Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, and Disney•Pixar.

Disney Consumer Products will unveil unique product experiences and exclusive merchandise at this year’s D23 Expo, scheduled for the Anaheim Convention Center from August 14 to 16. This year’s expo will provide interactive opportunities and products featuring Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars.
Some of the characters from the popular animated TV series Star Wars Rebels are joining Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition, reports Disney Interactive and Lucasfilm. Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, and Zeb Orrelios will be joining other Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, and Disney•Pixar characters in Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition’s Toy Box. In addition, all characters are unlockable within each Star Wars Play Set.
Disney Consumer Products has unveiled the merchandising program for Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, which will hit theaters next May. Disney Consumer Products (DCP) has introduced Playmation, a system of toys and wearables that uses smart technology to inspire kids to harness the power of their imaginations. Playmation Marvel’s Avengers is the first in a series of systems in development around the Walt Disney Co. franchise. The set is slated to hit shelves this October at mass and specialty retailers, select Disney Store locations, and disneystore.com.
Avengers: Age of Ultron debuted in theaters on May 1, earning $187.7 million during its first weekend. Yet the only superhero anyone seems to be talking about is the Black Widow, aka Natasha Romanoff, played by the beautiful Scarlett Johansson.
