During Toy Fair New York (TFNY), VTech and Leapfrog announced expansions for the popular infant and preschool ranges.
Earlier today, Leapfrog unveiled a slate of new products based on the preschool series Blue’s Clues & You! Including a Blue’s Clues & You! Really Smart Handy Dandy Notebook, Blue’s Clues & You! Play & Learn Thinking Chair game, learning watches, and interactive books.
In addition, Leapfrog will also unveil other interactive products to help teach kids important life skills. The interactive Speak & Learn Puppy (pictured below) teaches the alphabet, numbers, emotions, and language development with its talk-back feature. The bilingual 100 Animals Book introduces kids to 100 different animals in both English and Spanish. Kids can scoop up dust play pieces with the Pick Up & Count Vacuum and learn counting skills. The Purrfect Counting Purse encourages put-and-take play in a fabric cat purse, and the Yum-2-3 Toaster introduces kids to colors, opposites, and numbers with the educational toaster toy.
VTech also revealed an exciting slate of additions to its infant/preschool collections and the Go! Go! Smart Wheels line. With the Jiggle & Giggle Fishing Set, kids can catch fish pieces using the smart fishing pole that recognizes different sea creatures. The Count & Win Sports Center updates last year’s Smart Shots Sports Center with more engaging features, including an adjustable basket and soccer target. Babies can follow the Explore & Crawl Elephant as it moves along. The Helping Heroes Fire Station playset transforms from a fire station into a firetruck for 2-in-1 play and comes with handheld figures.
VTech adds to its Go! Go! Smart Wheels line with the Go! Go! Smart Wheels Ultimate Corkscrew Tower that offers kids a two-track playset to race cars.
VTech/Leapfrog will showcase its product range in booth No. 1C03/1C04 at Toy Fair New York, taking place from Feb. 22-25 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
