Disney’s streaming service, set to launch in fall 2019, will start with a domestic service only, and then expand overseas, according to Deadline. The service will not include R-rated films, which will go on Hulu. The programming on this streaming service will be consistent with the Disney brand. As of now, the plan is to leave the various Marvel series where they are, which means Netflix will not lose its superhero movies.
The streaming service also plans to generate four to five original movies, and five TV series in the first year.
