Calling all toy inventors!

Vuly Play — the leading outdoor play equipment company in Australia — is sending out a call to inventors around the world. Vuly Play’s new Toy Inventor Program seeks great toy-related concepts, ideas, and designs, and does not need to be restricted to outdoor play.

“We want to make magic happen, we’re going to make somebody’s dream come to life,” says Vuly Play Founder and CEO Joe Andon. “Out there somewhere in the world somebody has the next big thing, but they may have no ability, experience, distribution, marketing, manufacturing, or the resources to take it to market — in that case, we would make the perfect partner.”

Vuly Play welcomes detailed pitches, including descriptions of each invention, along with its purpose, how it works, and what benefits it provides. Documentation and related media should accompany each pitch and the company says that “a sample prototype is highly desirable, but not required.”

With this initiative, the Brisbane, Australia-based company seeks to expand its brand and global reach. Over the years, the company has offered products direct-to-consumer (D2C) in addition to working with partners, including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Hamleys, Canadian Tire, Toys “R” Us, and others.

Interested inventors can submit their pitches here.
