Budding toy creators now have a new path to pitching that could help put new toys on the fast track to retail.

The Toy Coach and TinkerTini are joining forces to offer graduates of the Toy Creators Academy instant access to pitch their ideas directly to major toymakers through the Tinkerly Innovation Platform.

“Having a trusted and proven path for my students to connect and pitch directly to toy companies was a critical missing piece to Toy Creators Academy,” says Azhelle Wade, The Toy Coach. “Fast pass access to TinkerTini and their Tinkerly Innovation Platform is the perfect endpiece to my program, offering the support and guidance that’s so critical to help my new inventors license their ideas.”

Previously, Tinkerly was only available to professional inventors for the purpose of accessing company wishlists. Now, the same powerful platform is open to graduates who may be new to the toy industry.

“TinkerTini is committed to cultivating the most diverse, quality, and smartly educated inventing network in the world to deliver fresh ideas and the very best for our clients, always,” says Trina McFarland, owner and general manager, TinkerTini. “The Toy Creators Academy is truly beneficial to new inventors, and our industry as a whole. We need to keep investing in the future of inventing and The Toy Coach is doing just that.”

Both Wade and McFarland have made recent appearances on the ‘Power Kid Podcast‘ to discuss their current projects and experiences working in the toy industry.
