A total of 123 Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us owned and ground-leased properties in 29 states will be auctioned on August 13 and 14 in Manhattan, provided that qualified bids exceed a certain threshold on August 7. Companies are invited to nominate their top toys, games, and licensed properties for the 2019 Toy of the Year (TOTY) Awards. Administered by The Toy Association, the awards program supports the philanthropic work of The Toy Foundation, which delivers new toys to children in need. Nominations will open on Wednesday, August 1 and close Thursday, September 20.
