Funrise is expanding its Bluey toy portfolio with a new range of remote-control vehicles developed through a licensing partnership with BBC Studios. The collection will bring the hit animated series into the R/C category, with products designed to encourage interactive play for kids and families.
“Bluey has a special way of turning everyday family moments into imaginative adventures,” said Shipra Larson, Vice President, Global Brand Marketing at Funrise. “Our R/C line brings memorable moments from the show to life and puts kids in control of the action.”
The Bluey R/C vehicle range is scheduled to launch at retail in the second half of 2027 for kids ages 2-6, with opportunities for parents and older siblings to join in the fun. The collection will be available across mass, club, specialty, and other retail channels in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Latin America.
The partnership builds on Funrise’s experience developing remote-control toys across a range of price points. Its recent R/C portfolio includes products inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Retail buyers received an early look at the Bluey collection during Fall Previews at Funrise’s Los Angeles showroom. The company will showcase the range again at Spielwarenmesse, taking place Feb. 2-6, 2027, in Nuremberg, Germany. Funrise will mark its 30th year as an exhibitor at the show with a new location in Hall H, Stand P29.
