Bazooka Companies, Inc. is closing out its 75th anniversary in a big way.
The company released Bazooka Bubble Gum Turns 75, a 16-minute documentary directed by Daniel Brea and produced by Flint & Steel founder Chris McKee.
To celebrate the famed Bazooka gum, the company and filmmakers enlisted interview subjects, including former Disney Chief Michael Eisner, owner of the Bazooka Companies; Arthur Shorin, former CEO of The Topps Co. and the son of Bazooka co-founder Joseph Shorin; toy designer and collector David Vonner of The Nacelle Co.‘s toy division; and pop culture personality Ming Chen (Comic Book Men). Bazooka gum is currently sold in thousands of retail locations, including many independent toy stores and specialty retailers. Over the years, Bazooka has collaborated with numerous players in the toy space, including Funko and Hasbro.
