Bionic Bird’s latest Kickstarter project is X-Fly, a remote-controlled drone designed to fly like a bird or an insect.
The X-Fly features wing-flapping technology that propels the drone during indoor and outdoor flight. The drone can also glide through the air or perform aerial tricks. Kids can control the X-Fly by using the featured app. X-Fly is designed for all skill types, featuring flight assistance modes and flexible legs and bumpers to prevent damage in a crash.

The project can be backed by purchasing the X-Fly or the X-Fly Bundle. The X-Fly Bundle comes with an X-Play joystick controller that attaches to a smartphone, an LED attachment to make the X-Fly shine, an extra battery, and a camouflage set of wings.
The X-Fly Kickstarter campaign is currently open and closes on Jan. 3. The campaign has already reached its goal, but new backers can still join. Products are expected to ship in April 2024.
