The game design company BMG & Associates obtained the trademark rights to Overpower, the ’90s collectible card game that involves comic book heroes and villains. The company plans to relaunch the card set that features Marvel and DC characters in 2024.Â
In anticipation of its launch, BMG created two new card sets: ‘World Legends – Power Card Promo Pack’ and ‘World Legends – Any Hero Essentials Promo Pack.’ The promo packs and their new mechanics were well received by the Overpower fan community.
The BMG team is improving and enhancing the card sets. The company is currently enriching the artwork and implementing new game mechanics. BMG is also creating a new version with rules that still incorporate the original game design theory.
