Brand Licensing Europe (BLE), Europe’s leading licensing and brand extension event, returns in September for an in-person event in London with virtual days following the live event. In preparation for the event, BLE launches the brand directory and online planner to help attendees keep track of which brands will be in attendance and to promote networking opportunities.

The event will feature a wide range of companies and brands, alongside educational sessions, keynote speakers, activations, networking opportunities, and more. Attendees can register and begin viewing the brand directory, and exhibitor profiles, and plan their calendars accordingly.

Furthermore, registered attendees can utilize their digital planner to distribute virtual business cards, search for license-ready intellectual property and the exhibitors who represent them, plan their calendar during the event, and book follow-up meetings through a matchmaking function.

As BLE opens its online platform, more than 180 exhibiting companies and thousands of manufacturers and retailers are registered to attend. Some attendees registered for BLE include Amazon, ASOS, Primark, Unilever, Marks & Spencer, Morrisons, HMV, and more. Additionally, the event will feature thousands of brands ranging from sports to lifestyle, such as Barbie, Peppa Pig, Care Bears, Banana Republic, Bluey, Formula 1, and much more. Attendees are encouraged to look at the brand directory to understand who owns the rights to each brand and schedule meetings during the event.

“The BLE Online Platform is so much more than a meeting facilitator. If you’ve ever wondered who owns the rights to which brands, the brand directory allows you to pinpoint who owns what IP”, says Anna Knight, senior vice president of licensing, Informa Markets. “We have found that the BLE Online Platform is especially appreciated by newcomers to the industry – and to BLE – who know what brands they’re interested in, but not necessarily who owns the rights to that brand, and also to determine which days are most relevant to them from a content perspective to maximize ROI.”

Brand Licensing Europe takes place in person at Excel, London on Sept. 20-22, with online follow-up dates on Sept. 26-28.
