Brand Licensing Europe (BLE), a leading European trade show for licensing and brand extension, opens visitor registration today.

The event, which will take place Oct. 4-6 at ExCeL in London, brings together retailers, licensees, and manufacturers to network and spot trends. Businesses will be able to discover and secure deals with brands, characters, and images available for licensing.

There are already more than 150 companies from all over the world confirmed to exhibit so far, which is an increase of more than 25% from this time last year. They include some of the world’s leading brand owners including Hasbro, Paramount, The Pokémon Co., The Smurfs, Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America, Warner Music Experience, and more.

Attendees will have the opportunity to secure rights to sought-after brands including My Little Pony, Paul Frank, MTV, Top Gun, PAW Patrol, Chupa Chups, Kellogg’s, Hello Kitty, Batman, Sonic the Hedgehog, and more.

The theme of BLE 2023 is location-based experience (LBE), a licensing category that has grown exponentially in value, creativity, and opportunity since the coronavirus pandemic restrictions were lifted, according to Licensing International’s 2023 Global Licensing Industry Study.

Location-based experience will be highlighted at the event with a series of features, including the LBE Pavilion with immersive exhibitor content created for visitors to walk through, around, and interact with, as well as two LBE-focused keynote addresses and more to be announced.

“If you thought last year’s BLE was an incredible experience with the fashion catwalks, wait until you get to ExCeL in October and see how the LBE theme manifests,” says Ella Haynes, Brand Licensing Europe Event Director. “And what’s really exciting is that LBE is for everyone — whether you’re a retailer, licensee, designer, or brand owner.”

Visitors are invited to register for a free pass to BLE.
