Cryptozoic Entertainment to Offer Previews, Exclusives at Gen Con Indy

Cryptozoic Entertainment, the company behind popular tabletop and trading card games, will preview upcoming releases and convention exclusives at Gen Con Indy. 

One game the company will preview at the convention is Adventure Time: The Roleplaying Game. This title is based on Cartoon Network’s Emmy-winning animated series Adventure Time and will be available for preorder on Kickstarter in the future. 

Cryptotzoic will also sell exclusive merchandise at its booth (No. 413), such as the Epic Spell Wars: Magnus, Minion, & Manual Vol. 1 storage box. The box is intended to be a companion piece for the Epic Spell Wars: ANNIHILAGEDDON game series and comes with 23 Spellbook cards. 

Some of the company’s recent releases will also be on display, with purchase options and exclusive offerings for games like the DC Deck-Building series. Attendees can get the DC Deck-Building Game: Gen Con 2023 Promo Pack for free with DC Deck-Building Game purchases of $75 or more, or as a standalone purchase for $10. The three cards in this pack feature Birds of Prey, Avery Ho, and Savitar.

Finally, the company will offer tournaments and preview events for the upcoming Epic Spell Wars: Anarchy game and two upcoming expansions for DC Deck-Building Game: Rebirth.

Founded in 1968, Gen Con is a major industry and consumer tabletop gaming convention. It will run from Aug. 3-6 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
