Douglas Co. is introducing six new Sshlumpies, a long-time favorite for infants.
Sshlumpies are 17-inch long plushies that are purposely under-stuffed so they are more blanket-like in design except for their plush heads. Each one has a variety of textured fabrics and an embroidered face. There is also a signature embroidery on the bottom right corner of each plush. Sshlumpies are the perfect size for small toddler hands to carry while snuggling tight to their stuffed animal heads.
The Dragonfly Sshlumpie is triangular-shaped with a full set of white wings across the back. This plush is light sage with a bright pink and blue satin belly that begs to be rubbed. His rounded head is ivory with two turquoise antennas on top and his signature embroidery is a green frog.
Bumble Bee Sshlumpie is oval-shaped with traditional black and yellow bumble bee coloring. He has a smooth yellow belly and pale blue velvety wings across his back. His embroidery is a tree branch holding a beehive.
The Snail Sshlumpie has a peach body and a lavender shell swirled with mint and pink floral fabric. He has a set of mint green antennae on his head.
Georgie the Giraffe Sshlumpie comes with perky ears and a facial expression full of fun. His giraffe, spotted body is mocha and cream with charcoal hooves.
Lastly, Vera and Gavin Sshlumpies are identical versions of Douglas’ Vera and Gavin dolls introduced last year, but in a blanket-like form. Each has a full doll head but a flat blanket body. Vera is in carnation pink with a coordinating floral print belly, arms, and hair bow. She has blonde hair and a cream face, and her signature embroidery is pink roses. Gavin is in light blue with a navy outer space galaxy print on his arms and middle. He has a full head of cropped chocolate brown hair and cream skin, and his signature embroidery is an orange rocket ship.
Douglas’ newest Sshlumpies will be available in early January 2024 at specialty gift and toy stores in the U.S. and Canada.
