Peppa Pig is poised to make a big splash in the music world this summer.
Entertainment One (eOne) will release Peppa Pig My First Album on July 19. The collection of 16 newly recorded tracks will include extended versions of kid-favorite songs from the series composed by Julian Nott, in addition to new tracks composed by Paul Moessl, and songs featured in the UK theatrical release, Peppa Pig: Festival of Fun. Harley Bird, the voice of Peppa Pig, sings on several tracks.
“We’re very excited to be releasing an official Peppa Pig music album for the first time in the brand’s 15-year history,” says Rebecca Harvey, executive vice president of global brand management, family & brands at eOne. “Music has always been central to the appeal of the show around the world, so we’re delighted to share these new musical arrangements with Peppa’s many fans during the brand’s anniversary year. We hope it will become the perfect soundtrack for families to enjoy at home, on the go, and at party celebrations.”
My First Album will be available for preorder beginning on June 14 in English-speaking territories, including the U.S., the UK, and Australia, to coincide with Peppa Pig’s 15th anniversary.
