Ricky Zoom

The Abrin Toy Fair is underway in São Paulo, Brazil and Entertainment One (eOne) is kicking things off with new distribution deals and toy partners for some of its top preschool brands.

eOne, which was recently acquired by Hasbro, appointed Sunny as its master toy distributor for Ricky Zoom and Peppa Pig toys in Brazil, including TOMY’s recently launched core assortment of Ricky Zoom products and top items from the Peppa Pig range. The Ricky Zoom collection makes its debut at Abrin Toy Fair this week and will be available at retail in Brazil beginning in May. Families in Mexico will find Ricky Zoom racing into stores later this year.

“Our properties are going from strength to strength in South America and we’re delighted to welcome Sunny as new toy distributor, to further expand our presence in the region,” says Murilo Hinojosa, vice president licensing – LatAm, family and brands at eOne. “A year-long schedule of new episodes, events and digital engagement will bolster our licensing strategy and we look forward to giving visitors to Abrin Toy Fair an insight into our plans for 2020 and beyond.”

Additionally, Candide will handle distribution for the latest PJ Masks toys, which will debut in the second quarter. New offerings include a vinyl Catboy figure from Elka and a line of PJ Masks puzzles from Grow, which will be sold in Brazil.

The Abrin Toy Fair, aka the Brazilian International Toy Fair, takes place through March 11 at Expo Centre Norte. The annual event is expected to welcome more than 15,000 attendees and showcases products from more than 130 exhibitors.
