Following a strong debut in the UK market through the recently rebranded Interplay, PlayMonster’s Face Paintoos are expanding in North America with a new assortment of licensed packs featuring Disney and Marvel characters.
The latest additions to the popular brand of no-mess face painting kits for kids ages 4 and up include Marvel Avengers, Marvel Spider-Man, Disney Princess, and Disney Frozen 2. Face Paintoos are a mess-free, inexpensive way to paint a kid’s face. The colorful and elaborate designs are applied with a wet sponge — much like a temporary tattoo — and are easily removed using one of the included wipes. The designs are long-lasting and won’t smudge, unlike traditional face paint.
New characters joining the assortment include Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Rocket Raccoon, and Spider-Man; Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff; and Cinderella, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Ariel, and Belle.
“We wanted to create something that allowed kids to express their personalities and make parent’s lives easier … and we’ve done that with Face Paintoos,” said Lisa Wuennemann, associate vice president of marketing at PlayMonster during the U.S. launch of the brand in 2019. “Kids can switch their Face Paintoos with ease and don’t need to worry about smudging their face or transferring it onto clothing.”
Additional Face Paintoos packs feature PAW Patrol, JoJo Siwa, animals, and party themes.
