Games and Stuff, a tabletop gaming store known for its large collection of board and card games, is celebrating the opening of its new location on Feb. 17 with a full schedule of events.
The recent move to a larger location in Harundale Plaza, a mall in Glen Burnie, Maryland, provides even more space to host events and display products. Games and Stuff now has access to an impressive showroom boasting more than 14,000 square feet of space, more than 4,000 square feet for in-store play, and two private game rooms. Celebrating its newly earned status as one of the largest game stores on the East Coast, the company is hosting a mini convention within its store.
Events include a full itinerary of tournaments, activities, and guest speakers. Gaming industry leaders invited to attend include Elizabeth Hargrave, designer of Wingspan; Dave Chalker, designer of games such as Thunder Road; Eric Slauson, designer of Tattoo Stories; and more.
A number of publishers within the industry will also be hosting activities. Darrington Press, Winsmith Games, Weird Giraffe Games, and more will all be present and ready to demo their games with guests. Attendees can also try miniature painting, demo games with Games and Stuff staff, and more.
Events will kick off at 10 a.m. ET Saturday, Feb. 17, and finish at 4 p.m. the same day. A full lineup of events and guests is available on the official Games and Stuff blog. The first 100 guests will receive free goodies, including copies of Pokémon Battle Academy for kids ages 10 and under.
