A group of YouTubers with more than 240 million combined subscribers are coming together to launch a new party game.
The Sidemen are a group of YouTube personalities, including Olajide “JJ” Olatunji (KSI), Harry Lewis (Wroetoshaw), Simon Minter (Miniminter), Vikram Barn (Vikkstar123), Josh Bradley (Zerkaa), Ethan Payne (Behzinga), and Tobi Brown (TBJZL), who come together to play games and challenge each other. The group’s latest challenge has been to launch Hit Send, a new party game for a Gen Z audience.
“We got tired of playing games designed for a different generation,” says Harry North, Co-founder of Hot House Games, the company behind Hit Send. “We wanted to create something that resonates with a fresh audience and the culture surrounding them. [At] any house party, Hit Send will cause a social storm.”
In Hit Send, players win points by sending funny, awkward, or risky messages to random people in their contacts list, including “I love you,” “Think my mom is having an affair with your dad,” “Just got with my cousin, is that legal?,” and more. At the beginning of the game, players each get five text cards. Players then go around the circle picking letters and number cards to determine which contact they will have to text and other players choose what will be texted. If the player sends the winning text, they win a point and another point if they get a response text. If a player refuses to send a text, the person who put in that card wins a point.
