Hidden Pigeon Co. (HPC) has officially signed on Retail Monster as its global licensing agent, just in time for Licensing Expo, taking place May 21-23 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Retail Monster will develop comprehensive licensing programs for author Mo Willems’ character brands, including Elephant & Piggie, The Pigeon, Knuffle Bunny, and more.

Our primary goal at HPC is to expand the world of Mo’s book-based character brands far beyond the printed page and give kids and former kids more ways to enjoy and interact with them. Partnering with Retail Monster enables us to tap into their expertise with top IP and best-in-class licensing partners to help us open doors to many exciting new opportunities for these standout brands.
Karen K. Miller, CEO of Hidden Pigeon Co.

HPC was founded last year with the intent of bringing the characters and stories found in Willems’ children’s books to new platforms. Willems has published more than 71 children’s books, including Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!, the Elephant & Piggie early reader series, and more.

“HPC has an incredible portfolio of brands and we’re excited to be working together to bring Mo Willems’ characters to life with strategically focused licensing programs that will appeal to a worldwide audience,” says Michael Connolly, Founder and CEO of Retail Monster.

HPC’s brands will be at Retail Monster’s Licensing Expo booth (No. R192). Retail Monster reports that it is currently engaged in discussions with potential licensing partners across various product categories, with expectations for new partnership announcements soon.
