JAKKS Pacific has partnered with Epic Story Media (Epic) to launch a content and licensing program for its IP Wild Manes, a new animated series about horses, friendship, food, and fun.
The short-form animated series, produced by Epic and animated with its 2D studio Loomi Animation, will include 40 five-minute episodes that will debut on YouTube Kids and other streaming platforms this summer.
A new Roblox game, developed by Epic’s game studio Freeground, will also launch this summer. In the Wild Manes Roblox experience, players can hang out with the Mane Girls in the town Wild, listen to stories, and join the characters on adventures. As players complete tasks, they’ll become the Mane Girls’ best friend and unlock accessories and mane colors.
Following the animated series and Roblox experience launch, JAKKS Pacific will release a Wild Manes toy line this fall. The line will include character-driven horse sets, horse and cart ensembles, feature playsets, and more. Each character has a unique personality, origin story, signature hair color, and personal passion that can be incorporated into the toys.
