Kilburn Live and Dr. Seuss Enterprises are taking the magic of Dr. Seuss on the road.

Launching Oct. 26 in Toronto, The Dr. Seuss Experience is a 15,000 square foot touring experience designed for all ages. Described as a “Seuss-tacular sensory spectacle, “the Experience will bring to life the stories, characters, and locations from tales including The Cat In The Hat, Horton Hears A Who!, and The Lorax, among others. The centerpiece of the attraction is an interconnected maze inspired by Oh The Places You’ll Go!, featuring thousands of suspended balloons.

“We are extremely fortunate to have been given the chance to partner with Dr. Seuss Enterprises to create this truly innovative experience,” says Kilburn CEO Mark Manuel. “Audiences yearn for great new entertainment, and at Kilburn, we aim to create new forms of live attractions that are compellingly different. Our entire team grew up reading Dr. Seuss and we have watched our children grow up doing the same. There was a lot of responsibility on our shoulders to represent this property properly.”

Following the launch in Toronto, the Experience will tour the U.S. with planned stops in Boston, Houston, and Seattle, among others. The Experience will feature a themed carousel and a Dr. Seuss retail store. Different books will be added to the Experience in each city.

Tickets go on sale Sept. 13 at www.experienceseuss.com.

Reported earlier this year, Kilburn is also collaborating with Hasbro on its planned Family Entertainment Center locations and a live tour for Power Rangers.
