Last month’s LA Fall Toy Previews may be in the rearview mirror, but two new projects are keeping the conversation moving.
ToyPreviews.LA has released LA, In Play, a new publication documenting the fall 2026 previews through trend coverage, product highlights, showroom observations, photography, and perspectives from across the industry.
Compiled by the ToyPreviews.LA team, the publication includes contributions from John Ollen and looks back at the exhibitors, visitors, and connections that helped shape another busy previews season across Los Angeles.
The recap arrives as the International Toy Board (ITB) Foundation continues to build on its LA debut. More than 450 toy industry professionals attended the Foundation’s launch event at 1960 on Grand in El Segundo under the banner “One International Conversation in Play.”
The evening mixed networking and a sponsor product showcase with presentations from Patrick Bowman and Nick Galletti, whose retail experience fueled discussion around the business ahead. Stephanie Peyret also introduced ITB Futures, an internship initiative designed to connect emerging talent with companies across the toy industry.
The not-for-profit Foundation plans to keep that work moving through its Associate community, which offers access to speaker summaries, internship opportunities, and preferential rates with legal partners Mintz and DLA Piper.
The ITB Board includes Jonathan Busher, Tom Hodgkins, Nico Blauw, Stephanie Peyret, Camille Madi, Martin Perticone, Ravi Narula, and Kepa Amutxastegi.
LA, In Play is available now through ToyPreviews.LA, while the ITB Foundation says additional events and opportunities will be announced in the months ahead.
