The LEGO Group Raises Its Sails with Pirates of the Caribbean Set

The LEGO Group sets sail on new building adventures by launching its latest LEGO Icons set. In collaboration with The Walt Disney Company, the LEGO Icons Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship set features details and designs inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise. 

Inspired by Jack Sparrow’s legendary galleon, this 2,862-piece building set captures the ship’s glory with moving parts and special features. Consumers can rotate dials to deploy the port, turn the wheel to steer the rudder, and open the deck to uncover the captain’s quarters. The buildable galleon includes additional elements such as the detachable rowboat, the minifigure figurehead, and the removable hull.

Builders can assemble their favorite characters, as the model features eight minifigures based on Jack Sparrow’s pirate crew. The set’s minifigures feature beloved characters from the film series, reflecting the on-screen stylings of Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Hector Barbossa, Gibbs, Cotton, Anamaria, and Marty. 

After assembling the galleon, consumers can showcase their creations with the set’s two display options. Builders can mount Jack Sparrow’s ship on its angled stand or set it in sailing mode by removing the hull.
