Hasbro’s latest board game, Life in Reterra, is a community-building game that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world in which players have to build a new way of life.

Designed for kids ages 10 and up, Life in Reterra starts when players choose one of three ready-to-play, themed building sets and take turns laying tiles to be filled with buildings and inhabitants. The more a player’s community thrives, the more points they get.

Building cards can unlock powers to help players earn more points, but the game changes each time players create their own sets of buildings. As the game continues, players can interact with other players and even interfere with their progress. At the end of the game, the player with the highest score wins.

The game is made with FSC-certified paper and wood and the trays are made with 30% recycled plastic. Life in Reterra is available for preorder now at Target and is expected to ship at the end of March.
