Preschoolers don’t always pick up on reading right away. The Little Tikes Story Dream Machine is a new way to get kids reading without the intense focus required for early reading.

Designed for kids ages 3-6, the Story Dream Machine is a projector that projects classic kids’ stories from Random House Children’s Books on the wall. With added sound effects and colorful lights, kids can engage with story time like never before.

The Little Tikes Story Dream Machine comes with one character figure that sits on top of the projector and three Little Golden Book story cartridges, including The Saggy Baggy Elephant, The Poky Little Puppy, and Tawny Scrawny Lion. Eight other stories kids can use with the Story Dream Machine are available now, including The Berenstain Bears, the Go Go Vehicles collection, and more. Even more story packs will be available this fall.

“Little Tikes is proud to build upon our legacy of cross-generational play and helping enrich kids’ imaginations,” says Isaac Larian, Founder and CEO of MGA Entertainment. “We are always looking for impactful ways to expand our portfolio and know that bedtime solutions are what parents and grandparents want. The new, easy-to-use Little Tikes Story Dream Machine brings education and joy to naptime and bedtime, allowing children and their family members to discover and re-discover literary favorites that have been loved for decades.”

The Little Tikes Story Dream Machine also doubles as a white noise nightlight for bedtime. The package is designed for on-the-go storage with a carrying handle, allowing parents to transport the battery-operated unit wherever they go.

“The Little Tikes Story Dream Machine brings classic stories to life in an innovative way while celebrating the importance of reading,” says Rachel Bader, Director of Licensing, Random House Children’s Books.

The Little Tikes Story Dream Machine and other story collections are available now at Amazon and Walmart for $49.99 and $14.99 respectively.
