‘Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered’ Brings Kaiju Battles Back to PC

Atari and Pipeworks Studios are bringing 2002’s Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee back with a remastered edition, available on Steam. The updated game features enhanced visuals, gameplay improvements, and new online multiplayer alongside local co-op.

Players can choose from 12 kaiju, each with a unique moveset, and battle across eight locations, including recreated real-world cities, Monster Island, and the Alien Mothership. Combat includes melee attacks, ranged energy blasts, special Rage Mode strikes, and the ability to use buildings and other landmarks as weapons. The remaster also includes additional single-player campaigns for each monster and an improved unlock system that lets players unlock monsters, locations, and gallery items in any order.

Backstreet Boys Launch Competitive Gaming Team in Global Gaming League

The Backstreet Boys have launched Backstreet Gamers (BSG), a competitive gaming team joining the Global Gaming League (GGL). Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, and Kevin Richardson will serve as celebrity team owners, competing against teams led by T-Pain, Ne-Yo, Howie Mandel, Flavor Flav, and other personalities. The group has unveiled the team’s logo and mascot and is scouting players for its inaugural roster.

The team launch coincides with GGL’s DRFT SZN competition on its GGL PRIMES online platform. Players can enter tournaments, compete for prizes, take masterclasses, and pursue an opportunity to join a celebrity-owned team and advance to GGL’s professional league. GGL combines competitive gaming with live music, celebrity appearances, and entertainment, with teams competing across multiple video game titles.
