It’s official: After 64 years, Barbie Roberts is a movie star.

To celebrate the release of Barbie: The Movie, Mattel executives traveled to New York City to visit the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square to ring the opening bell this morning.

For the event, Mattel Chairman & CEO Ynon Kreiz was joined by Richard Dickson (President and Chief Operating Officer), Robbie Brenner (Executive Producer, Mattel Films), Lisa McKnight (Executive Vice President and Global Head of Barbie and Dolls), Steve Totzke (President and Chief Commercial Officer), Anthony DiSilvestro (Chief Financial Officer), Josh Silverman (Chief Franchise Officer & Global Head of Consumer Products), Mandana Sadigh (Senior Vice President & Treasurer), Mark McColgan (Senior Vice President U.S. Sales), Dave Zbojniewicz (Vice President, Investor Relations), Jamie Cygielman (General Manager, American Girl), Catherine Frymark (Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications), Nancy Molenda (Executive Director of the Mattel Children’s Foundation & Corporate Philanthropy), and Julia Jensen (Vice President, Global Brand Communications & PR), and others.

Barbie was directed by Greta Gerwig and stars Oscar nominees Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken, alongside America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, and Will Ferrell.

The film also stars Michael Cera, Ariana Greenblatt, Ana Cruz Kayne, Emma Mackey, Hari Nef, Alexandra Shipp, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Scott Evans, Jamie Demetriou, Connor Swindells, Sharon Rooney, Nicola Coughlan, Ritu Arya, Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Dua Lipa, and Oscar-winner Helen Mirren.
