Melissa & Doug and CAMP are teaming up to host a pretend play-based event at one of CAMP’s NYC locations.
The Let’s Play Pizza Party is a part of Melissa & Doug’s 35th-anniversary celebrations and is being held at CAMP’s Columbus Circle location on Saturday, Nov. 4. Kids will be able to test out different Melissa & Doug toys, dress up like chefs, create their own pizzas and other pretend food, and watch a comedy show hosted by the puppet Chef Al Dente.

“The CAMP experience we’ve designed for families is unlike anything they’ve seen from Melissa & Doug before,” says Bridgette Miller, Chief Marketing & Sustainability Officer at Melissa & Doug. “Creating high-quality, realistic pretend play toys — especially food-themed products — is such a huge part of who we are as a brand, so developing new ways for our customers to experience this first-hand and see how their kids light up when engaged in hands-on, screen-free play is really exciting.”
Each kid at the event will be able to take home a Chef Role Play Costume Set. CAMP has previously collaborated with Disney, PAW Patrol, and more for events at CAMP locations across the country. The Let’s Play Pizza Party is a sold-out event.
