Sutikki, Foundling Bird, and 9 Story Brands have inked new licensing deals for Moon and Me, the latest preschool series from Andrew Davenport (Teletubbies, In the Night Garden).
Minor Entertainment signed on as global live entertainment partner, while Amscan (party goods, balloons, and dress-up, EMEA), Orange Tree Toys (wooden toys and puzzles, U.S. and the UK), Redan (kids magazines, Europe), and Whitehouse Leisure (amusement park plush, EMEA) join a growing slate of more than 40 global licensing partners, including master toy licensee Hasbro and global publishing partner Scholastic.
The series about toys that come to life while no one is looking, premiered in Feb. on the BBC’s CBeebies network in the UK, and just debuted in the U.S. as part of the new Universal Kids lineup, airing daily at 8:00 a.m.
“The reception to Moon and Me has been overwhelmingly positive and gratifying,” says Andrew Kerr, co-founder of Sutikki. “We are thrilled to be working in partnership with such a creative, dedicated, and growing group of licensees. Their passion and expertise are sure to make the experience of Moon and Me all the more compelling for our global audience of children.”
Sutikki manages Moon and Me in the UK, while 9 Story Brands oversees global licensing outside of the UK and China.
