Kirby Air Riders Flies to Nintendo Switch 2
Nintendo’s latest eShop update is headlined by the launch of Kirby Air Riders on Nintendo Switch 2, bringing fast-paced arena battles and air-and-ground racing to the new system. Other major releases this week include Hello Kitty Island Adventure in a new Switch 2 Edition with improved performance and GameChat support; Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, rebuilt for next-gen hardware; and SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, a new ghost-themed adventure set in Bikini Bottom. Nintendo Music adds the Wii Fit Plus soundtrack, while the month’s DK Island + Emerald Rush DLC event introduces new collectibles inspired by Donkey Kong 64.
Holiday deals also roll out across the eShop and retail. Nintendo’s Cyber Deals sale runs through Dec. 3 with discounts up to 50%, while select retailers are offering reduced prices on first-party titles beginning Nov. 23. Atari’s Comes to Life in The Sandbox Metaverse
Sunnyvale V2 is a sprawling new Atari-themed experience inside The Sandbox metaverse, built to celebrate Atari’s classic games and its origins. The world includes playable environments based on 17 original Atari titles — including a full Crystal Castles game — plus social quests, NPCs modeled on Atari characters, and community-focused gameplay like hide-and-seek.Â
The Sandbox Launches Holiday Events with Black Friday Deals and Advent Calendar
The Sandbox is rolling out two holiday promotions. From November 24-30, players can get 25% off select Avatar collections — including The Smurfs, ATEEZ, Attack on Titan, and Hellboy — plus limited in-game collectibles priced at three SAND. Beginning Dec. 1, the platform debuts its first Advent-style Seasons Greetings event, offering 24 days of mini-games and exclusive NFT rewards, with a Cozy Yéti Avatar as the final prize.
