
Digital-first kids entertainment company pocket.watch continues to grow with its expanding collection of brands, content, and products. In the face of this growth, the company has appointed Manuel Torres Port as the global head of consumer products, effective immediately.
In his new position, Torres Port will prioritize internal expansion; overseeing all consumer products licensing for pocket.watch brands and focusing on the growth of each franchise, including the launch of new ones. He will report to Xavier Kochhar, chief operating officer and chief financial officer at pocket.watch.
About the new role, Torres Port says “I have admired for some time the power of pocket.watch and its disruptive force in the entertainment industry, and I am grateful to Xavier and Chris [M. Williams] for inviting me in to contribute to the company’s very bright future.”
Torres Port joins the company from ZAG where he worked to build the Miraculous — Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir brand. He has previously held positions at leading companies such as Mattel, Nickelodeon, and NBC Universal. The team at pocket.watch plans to tap into his experience to navigate markets around the world.
