Razor’s latest ride is the company’s electric go kart. The Ground Force Rad Rod is designed for riders ages 6 and up and is modeled after custom built rides. It joins the Ground Force and Ground Force Elite as the smallest in the series.

“The Rad Rod’s unique style pays homage to the classic garage-built ‘rat rods’ with its unfinished look and lowered hot rodstance,” says Ian Desberg, Vice President of Design and Development for Razor. “That design influence led us to make other inspired choices including adding grippy front wheels, slick rear wheels for drifting, and a hand-operated, paddle-style accelerator and brake that allows high-performance maneuvers including powerslides and burnouts.”

Kids can adjust the Rad Rod to their ability and comfort level, including adjusting the top speed from 10 mph on high to 7 mph on low. The Rad Rod’s battery can last for up to 40 minutes of continuous use.

The Ground Force Rad Rod will be available for $199 and will be showcased at Toy Fair in New York from Sept. 30-Oct. 3.
