Smooshy Mushy, the collectible, squishy toys from RedwoodVentures, will be available in digital form in a mobile augmented reality (AR) game. Launching globally in October, My Smooshy Mushy allows kids to own, collect, and nurture digital Smooshys and Besties that can come alive using AR.
The app, developed by Dublin-based augmented and virtual reality studio WarDucks, will feature the original Smooshy Mushy characters created by OLO Industries. Kids can use the app to care for their Smooshy and unlock additional characters. My Smoosy Mushy will also use new technology such as Apple’s facial recognition.
My Smooshy Mushy app will be available to download for free, with optional in-app purchases, in mid-October on Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
