Like most live events this year, Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) is going virtual with the debut of Comic-Con@Home. While SDCC won’t be happening in-person, a full programming schedule is bringing the usual panel presentations to audiences around the world.
The toy and game industries will be represented on Thursday morning during a panel titled “Transforming Together Time: Family Gaming and the Future of Play.” In a year when gaming has experienced record numbers both in terms of sales and the number of players logging on, this timely discussion will delve into the growing world of family gaming experiences and what is yet to come.
Tommy Palm (CEO, Resolution Games), Tommy Tallarico (president, CEO, Intellivision), and Valerie Vacante (connected play expert, LiveArea, Collabsco) will share a discussion on how creators are designing new experiences across various platforms utilizing emerging technologies to shape the future of family gaming and play.
The panel will stream on July 23 at 10 a.m. ET.
