This fall, kids can catch festive Pokémon inspired by the Halloween season.
The Pokémon Co. International kicked off September with the release of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG): Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle. The new offering, previously featured at our sister publication, The Toy Insider, is presented as an alternative to candy for trick-or-treaters and is now available at select grocery stores and mass retailers. The Trick or Trade BOOster Bundle includes mini booster packs that feature seasonally appropriate Pokémon — such as Zubat, Gengar, Pumpkaboo, Mimikyu, and Polteageist — and have a Pikachu jack-o’-lantern stamp emblazoned on every card.

This month signals the official launch of Pokémon’s ongoing Halloween campaign. The company says that it’s “inviting families to explore the spookier side of Pokémon with activations and merchandise across the franchise.”
A dedicated Halloween Pokémon website showcases seasonal toys and other products alongside other activity starters.
Additionally, Pokémon Center, The Pokémon Co.’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) retail destination for fans in the U.S., Canada, and UK, is offering an exclusive Halloween 2022 merchandise collection, including plush, keychains, housewares, playmats, and more.
Halloween in-game events and animated content will debut in October.
